Offering a unique perspective on just about anything related to pop culture is the main driving force behind Cinematique
That’s probably the best description that can be used to cover all that is going on here, although if I had to be more specific, I’d likely say that I deal in reviews, think-pieces and any other ideas that pop into my head on all things surrounding film and TV, with a sprinkle of video game chatter for good measure.
Why Cinematique?
It was a name that popped into my head late one night when I was toying with the prospect of getting back into writing for myself. The domain happened to be available and, well… that was that, as they say.
In all seriousness I was just trying to come up with some kind of a play on words that were vaguely related to the stuff I was going to be writing about. However, I do indeed plan on writing about cinema, amongst other things, and this will involve critiquing it in some fashion, so when you look at it that way, it does actually make some sense.
